ABOUT POSITIVELY HOOPS

Positively Hoops was created to provide opportunities for Beaver Dam youth to play basketball and to foster a greater appreciation for the sport. Our goal at Positively Hoops was to create a well organized and disciplined program at all levels. This web-site will help establish the goals of our program as well as disperse valuable program information to our program members. The name "Positively Hoops" encompasses the true mission of this organization, which is to build a positive community experience through basketball and to establish a superior basketball program to teach, train, and develop boys and girls in grades 3-12. Positively Hoops leaders, board members, coaches, players, and parents are to be positive ambassadors of Beaver Dam basketball working to create a premiere program that will allow Beaver Dam to take its rightful place in the basketball community for years to come. 

Positively Hoops is dedicated to developing players and teaching the game of basketball while building a strong foundation for competitive play.

Positively Hoops in Beaver Dam is a non-profit organization that is managed by a board of directors and supported by the Beaver Dam High School basketball coaches as well as our town's youth coaches.

PH started with just a few traveling teams competing around the metropolitan area. Over the years, we have grown and now we support approximately 12 boys/girls teams, currently ranging from 3rd grade through 8th grade. We host multiple youth tournaments throughout the year. There are about 200 Positively Hoops basketball players in Beaver Dam and the number continues to grow. It is an exciting time for basketball in Beaver Dam.
