Beaver Dam Positively Hoops Girl's Youth Night
Positively Hoops hosted Girl's Youth Night on Friday December 2, 2011.  Participation was fantastic, with almost all grades having their entire roster in attendance!  All participants received a water bottle and laynard for showing up.  Girls in grades 3, 4 and 5 had the opportunity to scrimmage in front of a packed house during the JV and Varsity games.  The young players also had their names announced in recognition of their hardwork.  Following the varsity games, players had a chance to talk with their favorite varisty players and get autographs.

A very special thanks to the Beaver Dam Girls' Varsity and JV teams for allowing the PH girls to celebrate girl's basketball during their tournaments and sticking around to sign autographs.  You really are these girls' heros!  Also, thanks to the Varisty and JV coaches for all they do build and encourage our basketball program all the way from 3rd grade up.   Thanks for all involved to put together a fun Youth Night 2011!  It will be fun to see these girls giving the autographs out to new players in a few years!  

Lastly, CONGRATULATIONS to the Girls Varsity team for winning the Daily Citizen Classic!

ABOUT POSITIVELY HOOPS

Positively Hoops was created to provide opportunities for Beaver Dam youth to play basketball and to foster a greater appreciation for the sport. Our goal at Positively Hoops was to create a well organized and disciplined program at all levels. This web-site will help establish the goals of our program as well as disperse valuable program information to our program members. The name "Positively Hoops" encompasses the true mission of this organization, which is to build a positive community experience through basketball and to establish a superior basketball program to teach, train, and develop boys and girls in grades 3-12. Positively Hoops leaders, board members, coaches, players, and parents are to be positive ambassadors of Beaver Dam basketball working to create a premiere program that will allow Beaver Dam to take its rightful place in the basketball community for years to come.
